Culture Proficiency
Summertime
​
This sample of work showcases me talking about the movie Summertime (1955) for my French and Francophone Cinema class I took abroad. This shows my ability to annotate a movies plot, theme, and message in the spoken language of French. It gave me a cultural education that enriched my language comprehension and in the essay I reflected my perception of the film. In this class we watched movies from the period of the Second World War to the present day to explore the changes in French society. It truly benefited my understanding of the cultural, social, and political evolutions that have taken place by deep diving into the history of France through films.

Histoire de l'Art - Exposition Virtuelle
​
This sample of work is from my Histoire de l'Art class I took while studying abroad. Throughout the semester, every alternate week we would go to a different museum based on the art style we were learning and the different artists we were studying. For our final, we were tasked with picking five exhibits and explaining the meaning behind the pieces. In this sample, I achieve that with a deep analysis on the pieces by combining creative elements and thorough research to create my understanding of what the pieces are portraying. My paper highlights the French art movements I learned with the cultural knowledge I gained all written in French.

Business Competency
Internship Report
​
This piece of work illustrates my ability to speak on my internship in a detailed report. For my internship I was tasked with being the social media manager for the Montpellier Basket team. Due to this, I wondered what the importance of social media has in France and in the United States and what marketing strategies are needed in each country to have an effective approach for businesses. In this paper I answered that question while also eliciting the history of basketball and sports marketing in both countries, my experience, the skills I learned, and what I would do differently if I were managing the company.

Business Writing Project Proposal
​
In this sample, a group and I worked together to create a brand new business. Our project proposal was called, CoralUP, a "non-nano" mineral sunscreen that would help save the coral reefs. In this project I was tasked with the entirety of the Background, Problem Needs Analysis, and the Design. For this, my group and I did extensive research and actually formulated the costs of the strategy with what would be needed to jumpstart our invention. This was a great project to work on and it truly encapsulates everything I learned in my core business classes as I was able to take things from marketing, management, and economics.

International Marketing Plan
​
For this sample, I had to take a company that did not have an international presence in a certain country and come up with a plan to implement it in that said country. My group and I decided on Chick-fil-A to enter Ireland. I was tasked with Situation Overview, Goal, and Strategy to truly understand how to immerse the company into their economic market. This was a great project to work on because it follows so closely to the field I want to pursue. International marketing has to take into consideration the different socioeconomic factors that make up a country for the company to successfully enter.

French Proficiency
French Civilization Virtual Museum
​
In my course French Civilization, as our final we were tasked with creating a website to highlight a certain segment of history that was covered. I decided to choose the central theme as the Carolingian Dynasty with the three underlying arcs of the topic to be the kings of the dynasty, the architecture during the time, and the public policies that were in place. I then created a virtual museum website to showcase all of the information and to demonstrate my proficiency in the language to discuss the Early Middle Ages.

The World of Fashion
​
In this sample, I discuss the differences in the world of fashion between France and the United States. For the paper, we were told to discuss something that differs between the two countries cultures. Since I have a love for fashion I decided to discuss the key elements that create the differentiation between the two. In this piece I explain the history of them both and how they got to where they are now in all areas of fashion from street life fashion being on the low end to the highest field being haute couture.
